STOW on the Wold’s Christmas Tree Festival is at St Edwards Church, December 3-6.
With 40 real Christmas trees, provided by Fosseway Garden Centre and decorated by children’s groups, schools. organisations and businesses, with the winner of favourite tree in each category to be voted for by the public.
On December 3, at 2pm, there is a musical concert by Stow Primary School children in the church, with free entry and refreshments.
On Saturday, December 5 pay a visit to Santa’s Grotto, who will also be attended by a facepainter.
Also on Saturday, Joan Bomford, the Countryfile Farming Hero 2015, will be signing copies of her memoir, Up with the Lark, between 10am and noon.
The Festival is open 10am-5pm daily, with a late night, 7pm, on Friday.
