A TRIO of distinguished musicians will perform a concert of classical music at Poulton Church on Sunday, June 8 at 7.30pm.
The much acclaimed mezzo-soprano, Maria Jagusz, well-known Indian cellist Anup Kumar Biswas, and brilliant young violinist Julia Liang will come together to provide an evening of musical delight for people from Poulton and surrounding areas.
In doing so they will be raising funds for the Mathieson Music School which gives stability and a rounded education to some of the poorest children of Calcutta.
The piano accompaniment on the night will be provided by Barrie Cooper, an accomplished and versatile pianist who many will know from concerts in and around Cirencester.
Don’t miss this rare musical treat in support of such a worthy cause. Admission for this worthy cause is £10 in advance or £15 on the door.
For advance bookings contact Stuart Russell on 01285 850773, or Sally Boyd on 01285 851237.
