NORTH Cerney village hall will be transformed into a den for pirates and cut throats on Friday and Saturday, December 20 and 21 for the Churn Valley Entertainers’ Christmas pantomime, Treasure Island.
The annual pantomime is a firm favourite with audiences from North Cerney and surrounding villages and this year everyone is invited to dig out their eye patches and pirate gear and come dressed for high jinks on the high seas.
As the buffoon, Squire Polperro, and his flunkies race to find Squint’s treasure, Long John Slither, his parrot, Cap’n Haddock, and his band of pirates have other ideas.
With plenty of singing and a fabulous Richard Lloyd script that will have the adults chortling, Treasure Island – the Panto, will start Christmas off with a rollicking bang! Evening performances are at 7.30pm and there will be a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.
Tickets are priced at £7.50 or £25 for a family of four.
