Bedrooms: 3
So much larger than it seems, this bungalow has been extended to create a home which flows. Easily accessible to the town centre with parking and a garage.

A lovely size plot and a short walk into town are two of the benefits of this extended and upgraded bungalow.

Approached through double doors directly into the kitchen, this room is truly the heart of the home with tiled floors, plenty of room for a sofa, a table and plenty of working space. The modern kitchen has space for a fridge and washing machine and an in built dishwasher, stove and hob. There is access into the garden from the side.

There is one double bedroom downstairs with fitted wardrobe and an adjacent shower room with a double shower. The sitting room has been extended with a conservatory with thermally efficient glass, which makes this a wonderful space to lounge in. Double doors open into the rear garden.

Upstairs there are two double bedrooms with a bathroom in between. This would be an excellent opportunity to create a separate suite for an older child or relative, who would be able to have a bedroom, bathroom and sitting room all of their own.

Outside to the front there is a shepherds hut which is currently being used as an office but could also be used for accommodation. There is parking for several cars and a facility to charge an electric car on the gated driveway.

The rear garden is completely enclosed, mainly laid to lawn with mature shrubs and fruit trees, there is a gate to the side of the house and a door into the tandem garage, which has light and power. There is parking in front of the garage.

Close to the house is an outside kitchen, with a butler sink with hot and cold water, perfect for washing up after a BBQ or indeed washing the dog after a muddy walk.

Tetbury, often referred to as the gateway to the Cotswolds, and once voted by Country Life magazine as the third most desirable town in the country, is a thriving historic Cotswold market town situated less than half an hour from both the M4 and M5 motorways and within easy reach of Cirencester, Cheltenham, Bath, Bristol and Swindon. There is good access to Kemble Railway Station with regular Intercity services to London and other regional commercial centres.

Tetbury is well known for its royal houses, The Duchy of Cornwall owns Highgrove House, a home and garden beautifully transformed by His Majesty King Charles III and Gatcombe Park the home of The Princess Royal both of which are close by. Tetbury boasts an exciting range of shops including specialist boutiques, city standard delicatessens, the Highgrove Shop, two supermarkets and many fine antique shops. The town has an excellent variety of hotels, restaurants, cafes and brasseries offering a mouth-watering range of cuisine.

There is an excellent range of schools in the area including Westonbirt Preparatory and Senior Schools (3 – 18 years). There is also Beaudesert Park at Minchinhampton together with popular state primary and secondary schools in and around Tetbury.

A visit to the Tourist Information Office will provide you with a map of the area showing some of our local attractions including the world famous Westonbirt Arboretum, or the nearby Cotswold Water Park or perhaps the Abbey and Abbey House Gardens in Malmesbury.
