The Bathurst Estate has existed since 1695 as a traditionally based rural estate in the ownership of the Bathurst family. Its main business is the management and letting of agricultural, residential and commercial property, but it is also actively involved in farming and forestry and over recent years has diversified its interests.

With Estate property for the most part located in and around Cirencester, the prosperity of the town has always been of prime importance to the Bathurst Family. Cirencester is well known for the diversity of its attractions and hospitality, making it a real tourist destination. This sector is the key to town prosperity, and to providing service to residents, those who work in the town and visiting tourists.
