Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: The Green (Part) Aldbourne; for a distance of approximately 20m adjacent property Hightown, 21 The Green to enable Thames Water to replace a manhole cover. Alternative route via The Green (unaffected length) - The Square - The Green (unaffected length) and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order which previously came into operation on 31 October 2017 will now recommence on 22 February 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for one day between the hours of 10.00 and 14.00. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order has a maximum duration of 18 months. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic to enable Eurovia to undertake works for carriageway resurfacing, surface dressing and road markings: (a) A345 (Part), Savernake; from its junction with Manton Drove for a distance ofapproximately3.12km in a southerly direction. Alternative route via A345 (unaffected length) - A342 - A338 - A346 - A345 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 15 March 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for two days; (b) B4192 (Part), Aldbourne and Ramsbury; from its junction with Farm Lane to its junction with Marridge Hill, Preston. Alternative route via B4192 (unaffected length) - Liddington Crossroads - Foxhill -Baydon Road - Ermin Street - B4001 Straight Soley - Chilton Foliat - B4192 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 15 March 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for two days; (c) A345 (Part), Pewsey/ Manningford/North Newnton; from its junction with Swan Road, Pewsey to its junction with Rushall Road, Woodbridge. Alternative route via A345 (unaffected length) -A342 - A338 - A346 - A345 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 12 March 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 14 March 2018; (d) Spinney Close, Chippenham; from its junction with Queens Crescent to its junction with The Firs; (e) The Firs (Part), Chippenham; from its junction Spinney Close for a distance of approximately 20m in an easterly direction. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 11 March 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 13 March 2018; (f) Ripon Close, Chippenham; from its junction with Minster Way for its entire length. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 9 March 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 12 March 2018; (g) Bremilham Rise, Malmesbury; from its junction with B4040 Bristol Street for its entire length. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 10 March 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for two days. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: (h) Lowden (Part), Chippenham; from its junction with Palmer Street for a distance of approximately 70m in a southerly direction to enable Amberon TM to renew/replace Network Rail fencing. Alternative route via Lowden (unaffected length) - Lowden Hill - Rowden Hill - Lowden (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 15 March 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required daily between the hours of 08.00 and 17.00 until 17 March 2018. Alternative route via C136 Studley Lane - A4 - C365 London Road - C112 Stanley Lane and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 21 February 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 23 February 2018; (l) Orchard Road, Chippenham; from its junction with B4528 Hungerdown Lane for its entire length; (m) Orchard Crescent, Chippenham; from its junction Orchard Road for its entire length. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 20 February 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 21 February 2018. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: (n) C246 Court Hill, Worton Road and West End, Potterne and Worton; from its junction with A360, Potterne to its junction with High Street, Worton to enable Tarmac to undertake carriageway resurfacing and maintenance works. Alternative route via Cheverell Road -A360 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 21 February 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for one day between the hours of 09.00 and 15.30. This Order will come into operation on 19 February 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required nightly between the hours of 23.00 and 05.30 until 21 February 2018. Notice of Confirmation of Rail Crossing Extinguishment and Definitive Map Modification Order, Highways Act 1980 section 118A, Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 section 53(A)(2)The Wiltshire Council Lydiard Tregoze Path No.1 (part) extinguishment and Definitive map modification order 2017 On 1st February 2018 Wiltshire Council confirmed this order, made under Section 118A of the Highways Act 1980 (as amended by the Transport and Works Act 1992). The effect of the order as confirmed is to extinguish 245 metres of footpath Lydiard Tregoze 1 over the railway east of Vowley Cottage, Bincknoll Lane, Wootton Bassett. A copy of the order as confirmed and the map contained in it has been placed and may be seen free of charge, at the Rights of Way Section, Wiltshire Council, Ascot Court, Trowbridge, BA14 0XA during normal office hours. Any queries relating to the order should be made to Craig Harlow 01225 712810. Copies of the Order and map may be bought there at a price of £5. The order comes into force as from 1st February 2018, but if any person aggrieved by the order desires to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980 as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act as amended, or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the order, he or she may under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within six weeks from 15th February 2018, make an application to the High Court. THE WILTSHIRE COUNCIL FOOTPATHS CHIPPENHAM 28 AND 29 AND LANGLEY BURRELL FOOTPATHS 28 AND 36 DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2018
The named Order was made on 1st February 2018. The effect of the Order, if confirmed
as made will be to divert part of footpath CHIP28,LBUR28,LBUR36 and the whole of
CHIP29, a total of up to 326 metres of footpath, north of Hill Corner Road, Chippenham. An alternative length of footpath will be created from Hill Corner Road, Chippenham leading in a northerly then broadly easterly direction for a total of approximately 340 metres (width 3 metres). The Calne and Chippenham Rural District Council area definitive map and statement dated 1953 will be amended accordingly. The diversion is necessary to enable development relating to planning application 17/05149/REM and 17/07413/REM to proceed. A copy of the Order and the Order Map have been placed, and may be seen free of charge, at the Rights of Way Section, Wiltshire Council, Ascot Court, Trowbridge, BA14 0XA during normal office hours. Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 the effect of which will be to amend The County of Wiltshire (Northern Wiltshire) (Off Street Parking Places) Order 2015 by introducing in Calne, Phelps Parade North Service Yard, Phelps Parade South Service Yard and The Strand and Beach Terrace Service Yard Car Parks to the Order, operating all days and all hours, Parking Permits Only. Deposit copies of the Order, plan and Statement of the Council's Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours.
