NOTICE OF MAKING AN ORDER PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT

MODIFICATION ORDER HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 AND WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 THE WILTSHIRE COUNCIL SHERSTON 17 (PART) DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2017

The above order, made on 4 May 2017, under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert the public footpath running from OSGR ST 8575-8384 and then leading in a broadly easterly direction for approximately 540m to OSGR ST 8628-8395, to a new route at OSGR ST 8572-8394, in a broadly easterly direction for approximately 560m to OSGR ST 8628-8395, having a width of 2m, and thereupon the Malmesbury District Council area definitive map dated 1952 shall be modified accordingly. A copy of the order and the order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at Rights of Way and Countryside, Waste and Environment, Wiltshire Council, Unit 9, Ascot Court, White Horse Business Park, Trowbridge, Wiltshire, BA14 0XA from 9am to 5pm on Monday to Friday. Copies of the order and map may be bought there at the price of £5.

Any representations about or objections to the order may be sent in writing to Ali Roberts, Rights of Way Officer, Waste and Environment, Wiltshire Council, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge, Wiltshire, BA14 8JN not later than 5pm on 15 June 2017. Please state the grounds on which they are made.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Wiltshire Council may confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: Fowlers Lane (Part), Stanton St. Bernard; for a distance of approximately 30m outside of the property Prices Cottage to enable Wessex Water to carry out meter works. Alternative route via Fowlers Lane (unaffected length) -Hill View - The Street - Fowlers Lane (unaffected length) and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 7 June 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 9 June 2017. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months. This Order will come into operation on 22 May 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required nightly between the hours of 19.00 and midnight until 1 June 2017. NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF AN ORDER PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT

The above order confirmed on 11 May 2017, under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert the public footpath running from Hazeland Farm, Dumb Post Hill, Bremhill, at OS Grid Reference ST 9758-7253 and then leading in a westerly direction for approximately 30 metres, north west for approximately 20 metres, then south west for approximately 30 metres to OS Grid Reference ST 9751- 7250, to a new route at OS Grid Reference ST 9758-7253 leading in a southerly direction for approximately 51 metres to OS Grid Reference ST9757-7248, then turning in a north westerlydirection for approximately 57 metres to OS Grid Reference ST 9751-7250 having a width of 2 metres and thereupon the Calne and Chippenham area definitive statement and map dated 1953 shall be modified as described. A copy of the order as confirmed and the order map has been placed and may be seen free of charge at Wiltshire Council, Unit 9 Ascot Court, White Horse Business Park, North Bradley, BA14 0BA from 8.45am to 5 pm weekdays. The Order came into force 11th May 2017, but if a person aggrieved by the order wants to question the validity of it, or that any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 18th May 2017 make an application to the High Court.
