NOTICE OF MAKING AN ORDER PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT

MODIFICATION ORDER HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 AND WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 THE WILTSHIRE COUNCIL BREMHILL 2A(PART) DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2017

The above order, made on 28th March 2017, under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert the public footpath running from Hazeland Farm, Dumb Post Hill, Bremhill, at OS Grid Reference ST 9758-7253 and then leading in a westerly direction for approximately 30 metres, north west for approximately 20 metres, then south west for approximately 30 metres to OS Grid Reference ST 9751- 7250, to a new route at OS Grid Reference ST 9758-7253 leading in a southerly direction for approximately 51 metres to OS Grid Reference ST 9757-7248, then turning in a north westerly direction for approximately 57 metres to OS Grid Reference ST 9751-7250 having a width of 2 metres and thereupon the Calne and Chippenham area definitive statement and map dated 1953 shall be modified as described. A copy of the order and the order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at Rights of Way and Countryside, Waste and Environment, Wiltshire Council, Unit 9, Ascot Court, White Horse Business Park, Trowbridge, Wiltshire, BA14 0XA from 9:00am to 5:00pm on Monday to Friday. Copies of the order and map may be bought there at the price of £5.00.Any representations about or objections to the order may be sent in writing to Craig Harlow, Rights of Way and Countryside, Waste and Environment, Wiltshire Council, Unit 9, Ascot Court, White Horse Business Park, Trowbridge, Wiltshire, BA14 0XA not later than 5:00pm on Friday 5th May 2017. Please state the grounds on which they are made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Wiltshire Council may confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: A338 (Part), Collingbourne Ducis/Collingbourne

Kingston/Burbage; from its junction with Everleigh Road, Collingbourne Ducis in a northerly direction to its junction with B3087 Burbage Road, Burbage to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing work, road markings, ironworks and associated works. Alternative route for HGVs: via A338 - A342 - A361 - A4 -A346 and vice versa. Alternative route for all other vehicles: via A338 - A342 -A345 - A4 - A346 and vice versa. The closure and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 2 May 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required nightly between the hours of 19.00 and 06.00 until 26 May 2017. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: (a) Footpath 40 (Part), Calne; from a point approximately 145m east of its junction with Prince Charles Drive in an easterly direction to its junction with Footpath 16, Calne Without; (b) Footpath 16 (Part), Calne Without; from its junction with Footpath 40, Calne in an easterly direction to its junction with Low Lane to enable Persimmon Homes to undertake drainage engineering works pursuant to planning ref. 14/11179/OUT. Alternative route via Footpath 40, Calne (unaffected length) - Footpath 75, Calne - Footpath 38, Calne - Anchor Road - Low Lane and vice versa. The closure will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 1 May 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for six months. The Order will have a maximum duration of six months. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: Footpath 6 (Part), Devizes; from Town Bridge (A361 Northgate Street) in an easterly direction for a distance of approximately 495m to Wharf Bridge (Couch Lane) to enable tow path improvements following damage and embankment slippage. Alternative route via Rotherstone - Avon Terrace and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 10 April 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for seven weeks.
