TAKE NOTICE thatBromfordintendtodemolish 2-28 (even) Paterson Road, CirencesterGL7 1BU; 1-45 (odd) Paterson Road, CirencesterGL7 1BU; 41a, 41b and41c Paterson Road, Cirencester GL7 1BU and 22-28 (even) Golden Farm Road, CirencesterGL7 1BX (the"Premises").
We intend to demolish thePremises because the accommodationperforms poorly against Bromford's financial model and the opportunitythata number of homes in this locationpresents to Bromford to developnew, affordable,high qualityhomes that will better meetthe current and futureneeds of our customers.
Proposed Demolition Period
We intend to demolish the Premises within aperiod commencing1June 2017 andending with 15 March 2022.
Date by which this Notice shall no longer have Effect
TheInitial DemolitionNotice(as defined in paragraph 1(1) of Schedule 5A to the Act) will cease to have effect on 15 March 2022 (the "Notice Period") unlessrevoked or terminated under or by virtue of paragraph 3ofSchedule 5A to the Act.
From thevalidityofthe Initial Demolition Notices we will notbeunder any obligationto complete any preservedright to buy. This Notice does notprevent any tenant making suchaclaim forthe preservedright to buyorthe takingofsteps up to (butnot including) completionofsuchaclaim.If we subsequentlyserve afinaldemolitionnoticepursuant to paragraph 13 of Schedule5 to theAct thepreservedright to buywill notarise whilst that final demolitionnoticeisinforce and any existingclaim will cease to have effect.
If any tenant hassubmitted to us aclaim forthe preservedright to buybeforethe service of an Initial DemolitionNotice,thattenant hasaright to compensationinrespectoflegal and other fees and other professionalcosts and expenses paidbyatenant in connectionwith the exercise by that tenant of the preservedright to buyprovidingany suchtenant providesreceipts or invoices etc.
