Temporary Closure of Parmiter Estate, Wimborne (Various Roads)
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Parmiter Way, Parmiter Road, Parmiter Drive and Brookside Road, Wimborne. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 25 March 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary; however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 6 April 2022.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway maintenance and resurfacing works.
[i] To impose temporary road closure along Parmiter Way, Parmiter Road, Parmiter Drive and Brookside Road, Wimborne (in both directions). A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.
[ii] To impose clearway and parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting or parking on the highway along Parmiter Way, Parmiter Road, Parmiter Drive and Brookside Road, Wimborne. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by this Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986. Programme of works -
25 to 29 March 2022 - Parmiter Way, Parmiter Road, Wimborne - (Access will be granted at all times)
30 March 2022 - Parmiter Drive - (Access will be granted at all times)
31 March to 1st April 2022 - Parmiter Estate (Access will be granted at all times)
4 to 6 March 2022 - Parmiter Estate (Access will be granted at all times)

A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.

Temporary 30mph Speed Limit, Blagdon Hill, Martinstown
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. A temporary 30mph speed limit will be imposed on Blagdon Hill, Martinstown in an area approximately between Goldcombe Farm and Heatherlea, a distance of approximately 1200 metres. The order is needed for health and safety reasons, to provide a safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 26 March 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months. However it is anticipated the restrictions will be lifted on 8 September 2022.
This Order will restrict vehicle speeds when passing the National Grid haul route used by construction traffic.

The Dorset Council (Off-Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 20..
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Dorset Council proposes to make the above-mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.
2. The general effect of the Order will be to:
- Consolidate all previous off street parking orders and variation notices made by the Council in respect of off-street parking places
- Introduce tariff changes in certain car parks
- Introduce restrictions on permitted vehicles according to length in certain car parks
- Introduce charges into certain previously no charge car parks
- Introduce a new off street parking places permit parking scheme.

Temporary One Way Closure of Wimborne Road West, Ferndown (East Bound)
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Wimborne Road West, Ferndown from the roundabout of Canford Bottom (East bound direction only), a distance of approximately 310 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users.
It will come into operation on 7th March 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary; however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 25th March 2022.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway maintenance and resurfacing works. West bound traffic will remain unaffected. A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.
