SECTION 14 - THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 NOTICE OF TRAFFIC ORDERS FOR TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES

Notice Is given that SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL made the following temporary orders:

(STR000246 Prospect Place, Swindon) This Order is being introduced to allow sewer maintenance works and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding on Prospect Place between No's 27 to 20. Traffic will be diverted via Prospect Hill, Victoria Road, Union Street and North Street. The Order will come into force on the 12 November 2021 for 6 months but it is expected works will take place on the 12 November 2021 only between 9.30am to 3.30pm.

(STR000264 High Street, Bishopstone) This Order is being introduced to allow Openreach to carry out works and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding on High Street at the junction of The Wyncies. Traffic will be diverted via Cues Lane and Hocker Bench. The Order will come into force on the 15 November 2021 for 6 months but it is expected works will take place between 15 to 26 November 2021.

(STR000268 Whibourne Avenue, Swindon) This Order is being introduced to allow Thames Water to carry out works and will prohibit vehicles from making a right hand turn from Queens Drive into Whitbourne Avenue. Traffic will be diverted via Whitbourne Avenue, Shaftesbury Avenue, Marlowe Avenue, Drakes Way, Queens Drive. The Order will come into force on the 12 November 2021 for 6 months but it is expected works will take place between the 12 November 2021 between the times of 8am to 5pm.

(STR000277 Thamesdown Drive, Swindon) This Order is being introduced to allow remedial works at major junctions off Thamesdown Drive and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding on the following junctions off Thamesdown Drive leading to Eastbury Way, Redhouse Way, Torun Way, Oakhurst Way and Tawhill. Traffic to be diverted utilising Eastbury Way/Redhouse Way, Torun Way/Thursday St, Oakhurst Way/Garsington Dr, and Queen Elizabeth Drive.

The Order will come into force on the 29 November 2021 for 6 months but works are scheduled to take place overnight from 8pm to 6am on the 29 November 2021 through to 1 December 2021.

(STR000288 Lady Lane and Tadpole Lane, Swindon) This Order is being introduced to allow resurfacing works as part of Abbey Farm Development and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding on Lady Lane/Tadpole Lane from the access to the Stadium to west of the junction with Wyld Court. Vehicles will be diverted via Lady Lane, B4198 Thamesdown Drive and Salzgitter Drive and via Lady Lane, B4198 Thamesdown Drive, Oakhurst Way and Tadpole Lane.

The Order will come into force on the 11 November 2021 for 6 months but it is anticipated the works will be carried out on between 11 and 13 November 2021 only.
