SECTION 14 - THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 NOTICE OF TRAFFIC ORDERS FOR TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES

Notice Is given that SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL made the following temporary orders:

(STR000208 Lynt Bridge) This Order is being introduced to allow works to Lynt Bridge and will prohibit pedestrians from proceeding along the unclassified single land road over River Cole linking the A361 with the A417 Lechlade Road. Traffic to be diverted via A361 Lechlade Road to Lechlade, A417 Lechlade Road to Buscot, Snowswick Lane and B4019 from Coleshill to Highworth.

The Order will come into force on the 20 September 2021 for 6 months but it is expected works will take place from 20 September 2021 for up to 6 weeks only. (STR000244 Beckhampton Street) This Order is being introduced to allow works to an adjacent building and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding on Beckhampton Street outside Wat Tyler House. Traffic to be diverted via Beckhampton Street, York Road, Euclid Street and Princes Street. The Order will come into force on the 19 September 2021 for 6 months but it is expected that the works will take place on the 16 and 17 September 2021 only. (STR000225 Mead Way) This Order is being introduced to allow continuation of the Mead Way Scheme and will prohibit vehicles and pedestrians from proceeding on Mead Way between Westmead Drive and Withy Roundabout. Traffic will be diverted via Great Western Way, Tewkesbury Way, Whitehill Way and Mead Way. The Order will come into force on the 20 September 2021 for 18 months or until works are completed.
