SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL SECTION 14 - THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 NOTICE OF TRAFFIC ORDERS FOR TEMPORARY ROAD AND SECTION 14 - THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 NOTICE OF TRAFFIC ORDERS FOR TEMPORARY ROAD AND FOOTPATH CLOSURES/RESTRICTIONS
Notice Is given that SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL made the following temporary orders:
(STR000209 B4019) This Order is being introduced to allow highway agreement works and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding on the B4019 at Blunsdon at the junction with the A419 between Holdcroft House and Hills Development Site. Traffic to be diverted via A419 and A361 Highworth Road. The Order will come into force on the 2 August 2021 for 6 months but it is expected works will take place on the 2 to 13 August 2021. (STR000219 Bruce Street) This Order is being introduced to allow excavation and installation works for Fibre communication network and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding on Bruce Street rear of No's 65 to No's 104. The Order will come into force on the 19 August 2021 for 6 months but it is expected works will take place between 19 August to 3 September 2021.
(STR000212 Windsor Road) This Order is being introduced to allow carriageway patching and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding on Windsor Road between property no's 29 and 46. Traffic to be diverted via Sandringham Road. The Order will come into force on the 26 July 2021 for 6 months but it is expected works will take place between 26 to 27 July 2021.
(STRDDD198 Hannington to Blunsdon Footpath) This Order is being introduced to allow installation of a new water main trunk from Highworth to Blunsdon and will prohibit pedestrians from proceeding along the Hannington to Blunsdon footpath from the B4019 to Bridleway 13, Hannington.
(STR000199 FP 8 Blunsdon) This Order is being introduced to allow installation of a new water main trunk from Highworth to Blunsdon and will prohibit pedestrians from proceeding along PROW FP 8 Blunsdon which leads to PROW FP8 Stanton Fitzwarren, situated off the B4019 to Mill Lane. (STR000196 Staplers Lane) This Order is being introduced to allow installation of a new trunk water main from Highworth to Blunsdon and will prohibit pedestrians from proceeding along the Bridleway 7 Hannington between Queens Road and Public Bridleway 13 Hannington. (STR000197 Lawn Lane) This Order is being introduced to allow installation of a new trunk water main from Highworth to Blunsdon and will prohibit pedestrians from proceeding along the Bridleway 13 Hannington between B4019 and Staplers Lane Public Bridleway 7 Hannington. The above Orders for the new trunk water main at Highworth to Blunsdon will come into force on the 5 August 2021 for 6 months and due to health and safety reasons, no alternative routes are given.
