GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH KCH 43 (CHEDWORTH PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT
NOTICE Is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council intend to make an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14,15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of Public Footpath KCH 43 in the Parish of Chedworth from its junction with Public Footpath KCH 44 in a generally southerly direction for a distance of approximately 135 metres to its junction with the road from Hensons Hill to Upper Bam.
The footpath falls within the Parish of Chedworth in the Cotswold District, in the County of Gloucestershire. The closure is necessary to safeguard the pubic whilst construction works take place. The Order will come into force on the 3rd June 2021 and it is anticipated that the Public Footpath will close on that day until 2nd December 2021. However, if the works have not been completed by this date it will be necessary to apply to the Secretary of State for an extension of time. Alternative Route - as signed on site. PUBLIC NOTICE - BUS LANES GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL BUS LANE ORDER 2021
NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which:
1 .Revokes the existing Gloucestershire Bus Lane Order 2017 (the 2017 Order) and associated map schedules; and
2. Replaces the 2017 Order with the Gloucestershire County Council Bus Lane Order 2021 (the New Order); and

3. Replaces the map schedules using a different mapping system; and

4. Updates and inserts some definitions.

This is purely an administrative process to ensure the content of the New Order reflects current working practices and Council Policy, and provides a consistent basis for all bus lanes and bus gates in the County. The New Order may be cited as the "Gloucestershire County Council Bus Lane Order 2021" and comes into effect on 21 st May 2021.
The administrative changes will update the basis of all Bus Lanes in Gloucestershire, including any made in the future, and therefore potentially affects every District and Parish. Any person wishing to question the validity of the New Order or any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the ground that any requirement to that Act or any Statutory Instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the New Order may within six weeks of the date on which the New Order is made, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
