TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2020
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and the Traffic Management Act 2004, has made temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.
WHAT AND WHERE:
Bournemouth
? The Pier Flyover (Bath Road/Exeter Road) from Bath Hill Roundabout to the BIC Roundabout – closed to all motor vehicles and no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time (except for buses, taxis and authorised vehicles)
Poole
? Chaddesley Glen and Shore Road at their junctions with Haven Road – point closure to all southbound motor vehicles (except for buses, taxis and authorised vehicles)
? Banks Road – No right turn from Banks Road into Sandbanks Car Park
WHEN:
From 1st August 2020
WHY: When it is anticipated that visitor numbers are such that associated traffic poses a danger to the public
ACCESS: Access to property and full emergency access will be maintained
DIVERSION:
Via signed routes

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months, and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State .
