Wallisdown Road - Highway Improvement Works

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2020

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and the Traffic Management Act 2004, has made temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.

WHAT & WHERE:

* Road closed to all vehicles and no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time on A3049 Wallisdown Rd, from Kinson Rd to Boundary Rd.

* No waiting at any time and no loading/ unloading at any time on the primary diversion route - Kinson Rd from Wallisdown Rd to Columbia Rd; Columbia Rd from Kinson Rd to Boundary Rd; and Boundary Rd from Columbia Rd to Wallisdown Rd.

* Suspension of controlled zone waiting restrictions and all limited waiting restrictions on Talbot Drive for its entire length and on Mossley Ave from Talbot Drive to Alder Rd (unrestricted parking permitted in marked bays and on single yellow lines).

WHY: Highway Improvement Works by Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council
WHEN: 11/05/20 until 28/05/20
ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety.
DIVERSION: Via Kinson Rd, Columbia Rd and Boundary Rd

These arrangements may be amended/ extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months, and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State. The Council regrets any inconvenience to the public caused by this traffic order.
