PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY CLOSURE KSH10 & KBA1 (SHERBOURNE AND BARRINGTON PARISHES), COTSWOLD DISTRICT
NOTICE is hereby given that The Secretary of State For Transport has extended the Order to close temporarily under Sections 14,15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) part of Bridleway KSH10 and KBA1 from its junction with Public Footpath KSH 23 extending in a generally easterly direction for a distance of approximately 700 metres to its junction with Public Bridleway KBA3. The closure is necessary due to the Bridleway collapsing because of wildlife activity.
This Bridlepath was originally closed by emergency notice on the 2nd May 2019 for a period of21 days. However, since the works to remedy the problem were not completed during this time scale, it was necessary to make an Order and extend the closure to six months, until 2nd November 2019. However, works have still not been completed and an extension has been granted by The Secretary of State for Transport and will last until 2nd November 2020 or until the works are complete, whichever is earliest.
Alternative Routes - There are no alternative routes. Emergency access will be maintained and pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
