Malmesbury Vics 3 Chippenham Park Dev 2
A SUPERB strike from Vics manager Alan Griffin was the difference between the two sides on Tuesday night.
Malmesbury twice took the lead during the first half, through Chris Salt and Ewan Kenny.
They were pegged back, however, by a young Chippenham side that was full of running.
Strikes from Will Giles and Adam Shipman, following defensive blunders, squared the game before half-time.
It was not until the 73rd minute that The Vics grabbed the lead again, when a thunderbolt free kick by Griffin from 30 yards was enough to give the hosts their second win in four days.
