CHARLOTTE HEEPS has won the U18s Girls' crown at the Pukka Pads Junior Scratch Open hosted by Parkstone Golf Club.
The Minchinhampton Golf Club member finished five shots ahead of runner-up Rachel Naylor to scoop the £250 in prize money from a field of 48.
Charlotte made the long journey worthwhile after hitting an outstanding 74 in the second round to storm to victory.
The first round of scoring saw Heeps finish level with Naylor after 18 holes, but she opened up a sizeable lead to claim first prize.
Her closest challengers proved to be Parkstone golfers – Naylor (162) and third-placed Alex Cornell (166), who took home £150 and £100 respectively.
