TOP British event rider Harry Meade will be the guest speaker when the Wiltshire British Horse Society group is staging 'An Evening with' on Monday, April 20 in the Memorial Hall at Royal Wootton Bassett.

Harry was one of the heroes of British Eventing in 2014, making a remarkable comeback from shattering both elbows to finish third at Badminton and going on to ride a fantastic cross country round for Britain at the World Equestrian Games, only to tragically lose his horse Wild Lone after the finish.

"We are thrilled that Harry has agreed to give up an evening to come along and support his local British Horse Society group like this and I am sure local riders will be keen to meet him and learn from him," said Sandy Thwaites, BHS Wiltshire's communications officer.

Old Dairy Saddlery of Tockenham will be supporting the evening by providing a selection of top quality raffle prizes, in support of the BHS.

The Harry Meade evening will start at 7.15pm and will be open to BHS members and non-members alike.

Tickets are £10 per person and because places are limited, advance booking is highly recommended.
