18-hole stableford
THIRTY ladies at Cirencester Golf Club braved weather resembling scenes from Winnie The Pooh to take part in the 18-hole qualifying stableford.
Playing away from the clubhouse was difficult but even more so on the par five 17th which played very long.
Most of the field posted scores in the 20s until Sue Hodgson came in with an amazing 38 points. Her handicap has been dropped by two shots.
Otherwise the scores reflected the challenging, windy conditions.
Runner-up was Fiona Harrington with 32 points.
March Medal On Saturday there were similar challenging weather conditions for the March Medal.
Division One and overall winner was Julie Clough with the lowest gross score, and the winner of Division Two was Kate Dymoke.
Ladies Winter Eclectic THE Ladies Winter Eclectic has been played over the last few months with Emma Brereton winning the Silver award and Pam Mallinson the bronze.
