Minchinhampton Town 0 Poulton 4

TWO goals in each half ensured Poulton’s winning run continued, but they had to work hard and certainly did not have things their own way against a well organised Minchinhampton team who could well have had a goal or two themselves with better finishing.

Poulton's Dan Read was probably the busier of the two keepers during the first half, facing a strong wind, but dealt confidently with anything that came his way.

In the Minch goal, young Caleb Powell gave another impressive performance but could do little to stop Luke Richards giving Poulton a 20th minute lead.

Powell was also helpless when a cross from Dean Woolgar was turned into his own net by full back Aarun Smith a minute from the interval.

Poulton increased their lead on the hour with a fine goal from Blain Barker-Close and then made it 4-0 in the last minute when Chris Mulcock scored from close range.
