TWO of the most successful managers in local football are stepping down.
After 13 years steering the fortunes of Bibury FC's first XI – including a spell of four consecutive league titles and three promotions – Mark Hathaway has decided to retire.
Anyone interested in taking over the role should contact club chairman Peter Lees on 01285 641716 at the earliest opportunity.
Mark Evans is also stepping down as first time manager at Avonvale United in Tetbury after taking his side to four promotions in a row.
The first team play at Shipton Moyne Recreation Ground.
Contact should be made in the first instance by email to Jo Johnson (jojohnson1970@hotmail.com).
Both Bibury and Avonvale United play in Division Two of the Gloucestershire Northern Senior League.
