M4 Karting Cirencester League Div One
CHQ Utd 2 Poulton 2
IT WAS honours even between CHQ and Poulton, the second- and third-placed sides in the Cirencester League.
Despite having several players out through injury, Poulton made a great start with Dean Woolgar putting them ahead in the 10th minute. Dan Read had missed a similar chance for Poulton minutes earlier.
CHQ equalised when a soft shot from Joe Grafton somehow managed to find the net past goalkeeper Richard Wilkins in the 30th minute.
Five minutes later Woolgar once again gave Poulton the lead which they held comfortably until half-time.
CHQ had the better of the second period and equalised 10 minutes in when Grafton made no mistake from close range, but Poulton had little trouble hanging on a for a draw.
CHQ, who picked up several yellow cards during the game, did manage to get the ball into the net with the last kick of the match but it was correctly ruled offside.
