SWINDON WILDCATS recorded their most emphatic win of the season on Wednesday night, coming away from Planet Ice Milton Keynes after hammering the Lighnting 11-3.
Astonishingly, the result came after the Wildcats went 2-0 down in as many minutes.
Tomasz Malasinski (3), Jonas Hoog (2), Jan Kostal (2), Henri Sandvik (2), Aaron Nell and Sam Bullas all scored for Swindon with only a late Ross Bowers' breakaway goal stopping total embarrassment for the Lightning.
The Wildcats now sit just a point away from fourth in the English Premier League standings and will look to extend their winning streak tonight (Saturday) when they take on runaway league leaders Telford Tigers at the Swindon Ice Arena.
WILDCATS’ youngsters Callum Buglass, Floyd Taylor and Ollie Betteridge helped Great Britain U20s to secure World Championship gold this week.
GB needed a penalty shootout victory to get the better of Korea after the final ended 4-4.
