THE Woman’s Rugby World Cup, famously won by England in France last August, is coming to Cirencester tomorrow (Thursday) – but be sure to get there early.
The iconic trophy will be at Cirencester RFC from 9am to 11am – much earlier than previously scheduled as it has to be back in London for an awards ceremony later in the day.
It is hoped that World Cup-winning squad member Ceri Large, who started her rugby at Drybrook RFC, will be able to attend.
Pictures can still be taken with the trophy – for free – and the U13s Stroud & District Schools Girls rugby finals will take place from 10.45am.
