M4 Karting Cirencester League Div One
Bibury Res 1 Oaksey 3
THE points were wrapped up for Oaksey early on as all four goals were scored in the first 22 minutes.
Oaksey took the game to Bibury from the outset and scored within three minutes when Phil Hall converted a penalty following a trip in the area.
Bibury came back into the game and slack defending on eight minutes allowed Archie Day to claim a fine equaliser.
Twelve minutes later a delicate lay-off from Jake Pegler inside the box allowed Hall to give Oaksey the lead again.
Jake Pinnell’s fine run and cracking drive into the top corner from fully 25 yards made it 3-1 to the visitors.
While both teams had chances after the break, it was a low key second half with no further goals thanks to slack finishing and good goalkeeping.
A very important win at a traditionally difficult ground for Oaksey.
