JOHN MASON and Anna Seymour were respectively the winners of the men's and women's races at the Cotswold End-of-Season Triathlon run by Events Logic.co.uk and held at Lake 62, Ashton Keynes.
More than 250 triathletes took part in the Olympic distance event – 1,500m lake swim, 41km bike ride through the scenic Cotswold country lanes and a 9k run around the lake itself .
The Cheltenham Triathlon Club were very well represented as it was their last club outing of the season and they finished with a BBQ at the lakeside.
Despite a strong lake swim, Mason was slightly down in the men’s race but a brave bike ride moved him closer to the leaders.
A strong finishing run saw Mason clinch the victory narrowly over Andrew Martin in a total time of 2hr 05min 05sec.
Seymour led the women's race throughout pulling further away to win in an impressive time of 2hr 17min 07sec.

Women's race: 1, Anna Seymour (Army Triathlon) 2:17.07; 2, Nicci Clay 2:21.34; 3, Laura Fuller (Team Jewson MI Racing) 2:27.30.
