FOUR members of WMSki in Somerford Keynes picked some great results at the Cornish leg of the wakeboarding Grass Roots Tour 2014.

Barney Yorke-Davies, 15, finished runner-up in the Junior Open and Kay Ransom, a photographer from Cirencester, filled the same spot in the Women's Rookie event.

The results at the Kernow Wake Park in Penryn meant they both picked up enough points to take the overall South West Regional titles in the series.

Barney's younger sister Saba, 12, better known as the national slalom water ski champion for her age group, finished fourth in the Junior Rookie event in Cornwall.

Pete James, another WMSki member who normally competes at water-skiing, finished a respectable third in the Men's Rookie competition.
