NETMINDER Michael Crisp will continue his development at the Swindon Wildcats after the player agreed a second-season deal which will keep him at the Wiltshire club for the 2014-15 campaign.

The 23-year-old provided invaluable back-up to Stevie Lyle last term when he made six appearances and recorded a save percentage of .911 and Wildcats head coach Ryan Aldridge was eager to keep the talented shot stopper at the Swindon Ice Arena for another season.

"Michael proved to be great cover last year and he is keen to continue to develop himself as a player so it's great to have him in the squad," said Aldridge.

"We've got the division's strongest netminder in Stevie (Lyle) and Michael has learnt so much from him."
