WITH home advantage and a strong looking side, Cirencester seniors won decisively against their near-neighbours Lilley Brook.

Although the opening pair of Clive Bennett and John Morris could manage only a half, Cirencester took all but one of the other matches.
John Parsons and Gerald Park took their match by 5&3, followed up by Cirencester club captain Mark Woodhead and Mike Helyer winning by 5&4.
Another comfortable win came from Tony Jafrate and John Pugh by 5&3.
The seasoned pairing of Gerry Bruton and Martin Taylor won by 4&2 as did
David Findlay and Ken Anderson.

CIRENCESTER continued to disappoint in their away matches. Only John Morris and seniors captain Clive Bennett managed to win – by 3&2 and Bob Mills and Gordon Stone managed a half in their match.
