Glos Northern Senior Div 2
Winchcombe Town 2
Bibury FC 5
ANOTHER good away win for Bibury who hit five goals at Winchcombe Town.
Bibury took the lead as early as the second minute when Dom O'Neill flicked on a good long ball from Danny Brunton to James Keylock, who chipped the ball over the advancing keeper.
With Bibury in total control, both Scott Huband and O'Neill shot over when in good positions.
Chris Singh did convert another good ball from Brunton to make it 2-0.
More chances came for Bibury, Jack Ayres heading over while Scott Huband had a shot cleared off the line.
The second half started the same way with Bibury well on top and the third goal came when O'Neill headed an Ashley Rockley corner in at the far post.
Two minutes later Bibury were awarded a penalty for handball and Rockley casually slotted home the spot kick.
More chances came Bibury's way with Kanne Outram forcing a good save from the home keeper while Huband hit the bar.
With 15 minutes to go, Winchcombe pulled a goal back when their striker finished well and two minutes later Winchcombe successfully converted a penalty.
However, Bibury wrapped the game up five minutes from the end when Singh broke down the right before laying on a tap-in for Rockley at the far post.
MoM: Dom O'Neill.
BIBURY wore black armbands and both teams observed a minute's silence in memory of ex-Bibury player Robert Hopkins who sadly passed away the week before.
