Cheltenham League Div 1.
Bibury FC 1 AC Olympia 0.
BIBURY got back to winning ways against Olympia on a perfect afternoon for football.
Bibury started at a frantic pace and the first chance came from a free kick which George Peare headed against the bar.
Minutes later, James Keylock raced on to a through ball but the visitors' keeper saved at his feet.
Bibury took the lead on 20 minutes when the in-form Chris Singh got on the end of a pass from Ashley Rockley and finished well.
A rare Olympia attack ended with a shot being blocked by the Bibury defence.
Darren Parker and Ashley Rockley then both went close to increasing the lead for Bibury and, just before the break, Rockley played in Keylock but his attempt to lob the keeper drifted wide.
The second half started with Bibury on the attack again with Keylock heading the first chance wide.
Bibury keeper Steve Luce had his one real shot to save from a free kick, which he tipped over the bar.
Despite Bibury putting on substitutes in an attempt to finish off the game, the scoreline remained the same.
