NICKI PEDERSEN and Jason Doyle are the latest riders who have committed to the Bob Kilby Memorial Meeting at Swindon on Thursday, March 14.
Pedersen, a triple World Champion and one of the greatest riders of the Speedway Grand Prix era, will make a rare UK appearance as he does not ride in the Elite League.
Aussie Doyle was, of course, a member of last season’s Elite League-winning side for Swindon, although injury cruelly denied him the chance of racing in the showpiece Grand Final against Poole.
Doyle is this season on loan to Birmingham, while also riding in the Premier League for Somerset.
The Robins’ co-owner Gary Patchett said: "The addition of Nicki is sure to attract plenty of interest. He loves riding at Swindon and is determined to win the meeting. We're delighted to have him on board.
“Doyley will be a popular choice with the supporters and is no slouch around the Abbey.”
Pedersen and Doyle join Robins target Troy Batchelor as the first three confirmed names for the Kilby Memorial meeting, with more stars to be announced soon.
