CIRENCESTER Town Ladies scored thirteen goals on Sunday afternoon as they continued their 100% record at the start of the new season.

Town came into the contest with Longwell Green Ladies First on the back of three straight wins and took their points tally to 12 from 12, having now scored a whopping 32 goals.

Their last Gloucestershire County Womens Football League encounter saw them put eleven past Cheltenham Saracens Women, and they went a couple better on Sunday.

Jodie Bailey was the star of the day with five goals, whilst there were braces for Eve Timbrell, Libberty Messenger and substitute Eden Marsh. Lucy Scarnnage and Phoebe McGouran also got their names on the score sheet.

It was a dominant performance from start to finish and they now have a three-point lead at the top of the table.

Cirencester are back in action this weekend (Sunday, 2PM) in a cup game away at Mangotsfield United Women Reserves.
