Another win for six-goal Bibury FC

Cheltenham League Div I.

Butlers FC 3 Bibury FC 6.

BIBURY only sealed the points at Butlers after the hosts had a player sent off in the second half.

Bibury found themselves a goal down on three minutes when John Austin conceded a penalty and it was duly converted, but minutes later they levelled the scores when Harry Deacon headed home his first goal of the season after a Scott Huband shot had been saved.

Bibury's second goal came from Chris Singh after good work from Josh Russell.

Shortly after, Singh headed over the bar from a Russell free kick, but Singh was on hand to tap in the third goal for Bibury after a shot from Huband was parried.

Bibury went straight on the attack at the start of the second half. Ashley Rockley had a header cleared off the line and Singh headed over before he completed his hat-trick from the penalty spot after Huband had been fouled in the area.

Butlers then pulled a goal back from the penalty spot and began to get the better of the exchanges, scoring again to make it 4-3.

But soon after they were reduced to ten men and Bibury capitalised on that advantage with a fifth goal from Deacon, a 30-yard shot.

The final goal of the game came from Rockley after the good work from Huband.

MoM: Chris Singh.
