Minch Ladies enjoy runaway win at Tewkesbury Park

MINCHINHAMPTON New Course ladies have emerged triumphant in the GLCGA Net Team Championships at Tewkesbury Park.
Although the sun shone, the recent heavy rain played its part in making scoring difficult for the 26 competing teams from across the county.
In particular, it made the rough almost impenetrable in parts.
With the best three cards to count from the teams of four, Minchinhampton New finished five shots ahead on an aggregate 228.
The battle for second place was close with Henbury (233) just edging Naunton Downs (234) by one shot.
