Robins move for Grand Prix ace's younger brother

SWINDON ROBINS have moved to add Danish teenager Lasse Bjerre to their squad in a doubling-up role.
Eighteen-year-old Bjerre, who rides for Leicester in the Premier League, will share a berth at the Robins with Nick Morris, who has signed a deal with Scunthorpe.
Bjerre is the younger brother of Grand Prix star Kenneth, and was recently a squad member at Elite League rivals Peterborough before they made changes at the end of last month.
Robins boss Alun Rossiter said: “Lasse got some good experience in the Elite League with King’s Lynn last year, and we have matches coming up at tracks where we think he’ll be useful for us.
“It will be horses for courses between him and Nick bearing form in mind as well, and hopefully they’ll drive each other on because they will both want to be riding.
“Nick desperately needed more meetings, he’s only had 12 all year so far so that’s why we needed to get him fixed up in the Premier League, and bringing Lasse in gives us a suitable alternative if there are clashes.”
