Redland Green 15, Cirencester 14.
IN A dramatic finish to the semi finals of the County Triples held at Tewkesbury, Cirencester had the chance of a place at the National Championships at Worthing in August snatched from their grasp.
Cirencester (Anthony Spruels, Jim Luce and Nigel Cansdale) led throughout against Redland Green and were 14-9 up after 15 ends.
But Redland Green (Andy Gadd, Tony Stone and Keith French) picked up five shots over the next three ends to force the match into an extra end, and then snatched a dramatic comeback victory 15-14.
In the other semi, Cheltenham beat Dursley 18-14.
