I was bitterly disappointed and it is probably the first time this season I have had to call the players to task.
It was the worst 1-0 defeat I have ever had.
The keeper did okay but everything else about our display, particularly the attitude shown, was poor. And I am not prepared to accept that.
Mark Collier must have been pleased with the commitment shown by the Supermarine lads but I couldn’t say that about my players.
The first thing midfielders must do is stop the opposition playing and we did not do that. They seemed to lack energy.
The strikers were no better but they had little support and for most of the afternoon it was four against two.
We will have another clear-the-air talk in Thursday night at training and then move on.
To be fair to them, that was not the norm and I trust it was just a one-off.
The same happened at North Leigh last season when were rubbish and we really kicked on from there.
