FAIRFORD scored at least fifty points for the third game running as they thrashed nearby rivals Cricklade 50-3 in their Counties 3 Tribute Dorset & Wilts North clash on Saturday.

Having racked up 77 and 61 points in their previous two league matches, they once again ran riot to keep their place at the top of the league.

Zac Beim (3), Keelan Little (2), Ben Goodey, Daniel-Lee Dyckes and Harrison Hunt all scored tries in the big bonus-point win, with Beim adding five conversions to take his own personal tally to 25 points.

It completed a fine afternoon for Fairford, who are now on a run of five straight victories since their opening-day defeat to Chippenham III. They are now four points clear of Chippenham having played a game less and are looking good for a serious title charge.

They have already scored 286 points in the 2023/24 campaign in just six games, scoring a try-bonus point in each of those games, as well as taking a losing bonus-point in their only defeat, to Chippenham.

This weekend, they are back in action when they make the trip to Minety to face their 2s, where they will be hoping to continue their impressive run of form.
