Forest Green Rovers drew at home in League Two for the fourth game in a row as Port Vale came from behind to take a point.
Carl Winchester gave Rovers the lead after 15 minutes but Farrend Rawson conceded a penalty in the 72nd minute which was converted by Tom Pope.
The defender then received a red card for a challenge on Mitch Clark with 15 minutes to go but a frantic end to the game saw Rovers almost snatch a win.
