COTSWOLD Edge held their Junior Open.

Alex Ault won the Gross prize for boys scoring 76 on countback from Nathan Moore, both players are from Long Ashton whilst Shannon Jones from The Kendleshire won the Gross prize for the girls, scoring 87.

Home player Lewis Smith took the honours in the Nett competition with 66 from Harry Brooks (Cotswold Hills) on count back from Djibrael Ali (Long Ashton), both with 68.

Jack Taylor from Henbury won the Stableford competition with 39 points.

Tony Mansfield carded under par nett 64 to win the Seniors Medal, earning a two-shot handicap cut.

Division 1: Tony Mansfield nett 64, Will Sealey 67 & John Leighton 71; Division 2: Barrie Humphries on count back from Richard Davies, both 69 & Alan Cole 70.

Men’s August Medal Division 1: Roger Fay on count back from John Leighton both with nett 70 & Steve Hacker 72; Division 2: Pete Douglas 68, Geoff Gillingham 70 & Dave Smith 72; Division 3: Marc Jenkins 64; Bob Wills 70 & Arthur Naylor 71.
