ON THE Triathlon front, Pauline Teague headed North to represent Great Britain in her age group 60-64 in the ETU Sprint Distance Tri European Championships in Glasgow on Saturday.

Teague put in a sterling performance to come 16th/29th in her age group in an overall time of 01:37:07.

Taking it overseas, Daniel Badger lined up at Steelhead 70.3 in Benton Harbour, Michigan and finished in a respectable finish time of 5:53:00.

Steve Edwards tackled marathon number 835 - Enigma Show Me The Money (part 2) - 3:25:42 for 2nd place overall.

NCTR Members were out in force across the UK for parkruns on Saturday.

For a second week running, the Walmsley’s lined up for the Llanerchaeron Parkrun. All of them achieved better positions.

Dennis came in second breaking his own V55 course record in 18:39.

Lilly-Anna improved to 1st JW11-14 in 27:53 while Bertie also gained places to get 2nd JM10 in 31:42, closely followed by mum Lucy in 31:43.

Joining them was fellow NCTR athlete Kate Krzywiec, she was 5th overall, 1st lady and V40 record in 19.51.

And finally, keeping it local was Mike Hobbs who was at Witney Park run. Hobbs was 3rd overall in 18.48
