On SUNDAY, August 19, Gloucestershire will make a second attempt to play their ECB Over 50 County Championship quarter-final against Leicestershire & Rutland. Rain forced the tie, originally scheduled to be held at Rockhampton, to be called off, so it will now take place at Redmarley, 1pm. Pic: Ian Rice
Jem Brooks’ side booked a home tie thanks to a 121-run victory over Huntingdonshire at Frocester, making it eight out of eight for the season.
Ed Gordon-Lennox (80), Bill Johnson (51 not) and Hugh Leeke (43) top scored in the home side’s challenge of 253-7 before spinner John Courtney (4-30 from nine) and seamer Chris Trembath (4-22 from 7.5) dismissed Huntingdonshire for just 132.
