FIRST up this week representing NCTR was Steve Edwards, in marathon number 833, at the Enigma Trains, Furzton Lake in Milton Keynes.

Edwards finished in 3:28:17 for 1st place record and a 63rd career marathon win.

u ON SUNDAY, Edwards joined fellow NCTR members in the Forest Trail Event, Nikki Hitchcock’s debut in this distance.

Edwards finished in 3:31:12 in marathon number 834, while Hitchcock finished in 4:07:00 and 7th in her age group.

Pippa Brown was running the half marathon distance finishing in 1:50:04 and James Dunn finished the outing off in the 10km race in 56mins

u VIV D’Alton, Lisa Cartlidge & Pauline Teague all took on the Cotswold Classic 113 at Cirencester.

Cartlidge was the first one in from the trio in 6:22:54 19th 45-49 age group, Teague was up next in 6:23:04 3rd 60-64 age group and D’Alton came in with 7:08:58 8th 55-59 age group.

u CLAIRE Harrison lined up at the Hooky6, Harrison was 5th V40 and 10th woman in a time of 43.57, while her daughter Daisy also took part in the one-mile fun run.

Juniors parkrun

THREE of NCTR Juniors took part at the local Witney Park Run.

First home was Lucy Hillary in her 2nd parkrun, finishing 2nd in her age group 30:11.

First-timers Phoebe Miller was 5th in her age group at 34.38 closely followed my Harry Finley 39:11.

u AT THE Llanerchaeron Park Run was the Walmsley family.

Dennis smashed the VM55 category course record by 1:08 to record 18:57 and 3rd overall.

Lilly-Anna had a fantastic run as a first timer to be 8th overall female and 2nd JW 11-14.

Bertie had an amazing sprint finish in his time of 30:16, which got him 5th JM10.

Mother, Lucy Walmsley, enjoyed her first experience of parkruns with an accompanying time of 30:18.
