Cotswold and District League Division One

CO-leaders South Cerney enjoyed the long trip to Longborough and Sezincote and they came away with their unbeaten record intact.

John Mutsaars (43) and Luke McDonah (30) got the hosts off to a fine start but the introduction of the slower bowlers changed the complexion of the innings.

Sam Catterall (5-23) bowled an outstanding spell and was well supported by Dave Leith (2-33) as the hosts were bowled out for 149.

Good bowling by Carl Luker (2-27) saw the Cerney reply off to a poor start but the free gift of 53 extras helped the visitors build momentum then Dave Leith (31 no) and Chris Wearing (26 no) guided them to victory at 150-4 off 36 overs.
