CIRENCESTER maintained their top-six hopes with a 3-2 win at the Corinium Stadium against Kidlington, extending their unbeaten run to 14 games.

It`s now four from six for the play-off places, with Evesham United now in third spot, and Swindon Supermarine joining Manor Farm and Wimborne in trying to hold-off Cirencester and Bideford AFC, who currently sit seventh and eighth respectively.

Charlie Griffin's side fell behind as early as the 4th-minute to a Declan Benjamin effort, but were level through Alexandru Albert on 32 minutes.

Duran Martin restored the Oxfordshire side`s lead six minutes into the second- half, but Ben Whitehead on 68 minutes and Aidan Bennett nine minutes later, sealed Ciren`s win to leave them on 67 points with two games remaining away at Winchester on Tuesday and Shortwood on Saturday.

Bideford are on 66 points, but have three games to go and play Tuesday and Thursday in the week.

Evesham have one game left to reach 76 points which will be enough and they reached 73, thanks to a 2-0 win at Cossham Street against Mangotsfield United, courtesy of goals from Adam Mann and the on-loan Ollie Mehew just before half-time.
