Fairford 10
Painswick 29
Painswick maintained their promotion bid with an emphatic bonus point win over close rivals Fairford and in the process deny the hosts a bonus point.
Tries from Ben Wood and Neil Churchill, with a conversion from skipper Craig Mayo gave Painswick a slender 12-10 lead at half-time.
However the visitors dominated the second-half with Tom Coombs, Eti Millward and the evergreen James Harber all scoring tries and Mayo adding another conversion.
In a dominant forward performance Ben Andrews was outstanding at number 8 with his driving carries from the base of the scrum and Tom Powell controlled possession well at fly-half.
Promotion now lies in their own hands as bonus point wins at Kingswood on Saturday and at home to Norton on April 7 will guarantee Painswick runners up spot.
