CIRENCESTER racer Adam Woods has completed an eventful first season in the Dirt Track Riders Association Championship – and he can't wait to have another crack in 2018.

After the final round in Eastbourne, Woods finished the series in 24th place out of a total of 61 entrants.

"I had such fun and can highly recommend the series to any potential contestants," said Woods. "I made only one final but I'm happy with that.

"The top 10 riders have been promoted to the restricted class for 2018, so I'm feeling ambitious for this series next year.

"I will be targeting finals in all rounds and podiums in at least three with the plan to earn a top 10 finish overall which would gain promotion.

"I am also planning to ride in the Hells Race at Lelystad Speedway in the Netherlands and also in a few French races."
